Career Scholar (K) Seminars offer attendees the chance to talk with renowned investigators in a small setting over a provided lunch.

These intimate discussions kick off with senior investigators sharing how they got to be where they are today in their careers – along with the obstacles and life lessons they learned along the way. Other sessions give investigators highlights of the UChicago resources available to help accelerate their work.

This series is open to everyone and provides a platform for people to share their ideas on both innovative research and career advice. Seminars are held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Gwen and Jules Knapp Center for Biomedical Discovery, Room 7260, on the third Thursday of every month.

These seminars are required for those recipients of the NIH Career (K) Development Awards that the ITM administers. Click here to see what a session is like.
